I'm Wes ...

Hello! and welcome to my Photography website

I have been a geologist in the environmental field for over 30 years. I got involved with photography more than 25 years ago using a manual Pentax K1000 film camera, no digital cameras back then! Currently I am working with Canon EOS cameras, the most recent being an EOS 5Ds but I still use my 5D Mark III and 5D Mark II on occasion. As you can see, I do mostly landscape photography along with some wildlife and macro work. During work related and personal travel I have had the opportunity to do photography across the US and at a few international locations, so a little travel photography when I have the opportunity. You may run across a few rock and outcrop photos here and there, just my geology sneaking into the photography.
